Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit - Family & Business trip hotel - Bangkok Chinatown

Bangkok Chinatown

Known locally as Yaowarat, Bangkok’s Chinatown is one of the oldest and largest neighbourhoods in the city. Today Chinatown is a lively trade hub that’s busy day and night. Along main roads and in the area’s many small sois are shops and vendors offering all types of goods from teas and herbs to gold necklaces. At night Chinatown becomes one of the city’s liveliest restaurant and street-food scenes, especially for fresh seafood at reasonable prices.

Chinatown is approximately 20 minutes by taxi from Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit, depending on traffic. Guests also can take BTS SkyTrain to Asok interchange and then MRT underground to Hua Lamphong station; the Chinatown neighbourhood is then about a 5- to 10-minute walk away.
